Photos from Shelley, Herman, and Chris's farm

The first time I ever saw the farm, it was May 22nd, 2005. It had a big stack of haybales up at the front, and the rest of the land was covered in alfalfa. The levee had recently been sprayed with Roundup or something. By 2008, the alfalfa had mostly been taken over by weeds, and there are lots of veggies and chickens, and I now have visted two other farms in the area. The levee gets lots of mustard plants in the winter that give way to willows and weeds.
